In between my undergraduate and graduate degrees, I took a year off in light of Covid-19 and tested my skills as a ski lift operator in Park City, Utah. It was an experience that combined my love for skiing and the outdoors with customer service, at a resort where I have been lucky enough to grow up skiing. With no previous experience operating ski lifts, I jumped in head first, learning quick to ensure the safety of guests and fellow employees. It was a perfect reset and I am so grateful I had the opportunity to work with so many amazing people.

My duties here included:

• Ensured safe transport of over 1,000 guests daily, maintaining a zero-accident record to protect the reputation of the ski resort.

• Maintained peak ski lift efficiency through performing daily tests and inspections.

• Promoted core values observed by all staff & vision through collaborative communication and professional interactions.
